TEXCLIPSE
Shot during the Total Eclipse in Texas. This was my first shoot of the summer.
What I especially like about these is many of them were captured while the subject was dancing making capturing their personality with an open shutter that much more difficult and meaningful.

What I love about this style of photography I have developed is I never have a final image in mind, all of these images were the results of going with the flow, capturing the moment.

Official photographer for three Studio 303 writing camps between Albuquerque, NM & Los Angeles, CA.
My light-painting techniques require a low-light / mood lit environment so the initial frame is captured by the flash and the additional lights are captured while the shutter stays open.
Paris
While in Paris for the Olympics, took a break to capture ourselves near the Eiffel Tower
The ability to create & capture whenever inspiration strikes opens up the possibility for more meaningful moments.
Burning Man
Captured friends & strangers during the many adventures at this year's Burn!
In the moment these images are taken, I show the subject the photo on my view finder. Unedited they are astonished, but once I send the edited images their joy is multiplied thus creating a deeper connection.
