This piece is a Gesamtkunstwerk or “total artwork” similar to that of my first release The Homeland.
Inspired by artists like Tyler, The Creator, Childish Gambino, and Tierra Whack I cross-pollinated mediums (photography, videography, performance, body art, music, management & marketing) to create the world of "b."

Below are some moments from the various "This is b." performances throughout 2022:
Kieran Ma'avea's piece Over The Ocean was the original inspiration for the character "b." The painting was also used a a reference for the design atop b.'s head.
Below is the series of posters created as marketing/promo for the final performance of This is b. Dec 8th, 2022 titled "Thesis b." The posters were laid out in places with high foot traffic as well as given directly to supporters to hand out directly to their friends.

This was an amazing year, my life opened up to so many new people and possibilities because I made the decision to commit to an idea and let it become something I could not have imagined.
